MOSCOW. Aug 15 (Interfax) - Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev and Yang Jiechi, a member of the Communist Party of China's Central Committee Politburo, have discussed the situation on the Korean Peninsula and cooperation between Russia and China, including that in the military field, at bilateral consultations.
"The sides exchanged opinions on aspects of the Middle East peace process and the situation on the Korean Peninsula," the press secretary of the Russian Security Council, Yevgeny Anoshin, told Interfax.
"The Russian-Chinese interaction in security, and defense and military-technical cooperation were discussed," he said.
