MOSCOW. Aug 16 (Interfax) - Two Russian Tupolev Tu-160 strategic bombers have flown from the Chukotka Autonomous District to the Saratov region over the Arctic Ocean and the East Siberian and Kara Seas, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Thursday.

"The flight path passed over the Arctic Ocean and the East Siberian and Kara Seas within the borders of the Russian Federation," the ministry said.

"During the drills, Tu-160 crews performed mid-air refueling and simulated missile launches at ground targets at a training range in the Republic of Komi," it said.
