MOSCOW. Aug 20 (Interfax) - There were no objectives of reaching any agreements at talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and German Chancellor Angela Merkel, it was a useful meeting to compare notes on relevant issues, Russian presidential spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said.
"It was not aimed at reaching agreements, it was a very useful, necessary and well-timed conversation exactly to synchronize the watches regarding a whole range of relevant and actively developing issues," he told reporters, replying to a relevant question.
