Energia's ex-deputy CEO, charged with fraud, pleads not guilty in court

MOSCOW. Aug 20 (Interfax) - Alexei Beloborodov, former deputy director general of the Energia Rocket and Space Corporation, who is charged with attempted massive fraud, has pleaded not guilty in court, an Interfax correspondent reported.

"I plead not guilty. I'm not going to flee," Beloborodov said in Moscow's Babushkinsky District Court, which is considering investigators' motion on his arrest, on Monday.

According to materials read out by the court, "Beloborodov pleaded not guilty and refused to testify."
