YEKATERINBURG. Aug 21 (Interfax) - A new anti-drone complex, Silok, will make a premier at the Sverdlovsk range in Yekaterinburg in the course of the Army 2018 international military-technical forum, the press service of the Central Military District said in a statement.
"The complex was supplied to the ECM brigade of the Central Military District in 2018 under a government defense order to suppress unmanned aerial vehicles with electronic countermeasures. It conducts an automatic search, determines coordinates, and suppresses drones in diverse bands on a range of several kilometers," the press service said.
ECM complexes of the Krasukha family, which can jam any signal of hostile reconnaissance radars on long distances, will also be put on display.
In addition, the Murmansk reconnaissance system built to intercept and jam signals sent by the enemy on distances of up to 5,000 kilometers, and the Leer-3 aerodynamic mobile phone jamming system will be presented.
The forum will open on August 25, and the exhibition of armaments and military hardware will be open to the public on August 24. Free shuttle buses will take visitors to and from the range. The forum will close on August 26.
