KUBINKA (Moscow region). Aug 21 (Interfax) - Russia will complete the construction of a Kalashnikov rifle plant in Venezuela in 2019, Rosoboronexport head Alexander Mikheyev said.
"The plant will be completed. We are actively at work to boost its commissioning. We expect to complete the construction of the Kalashnikov rifle and ammunition plant next year," Mikheyev told the press at the Army 2018 forum.
A helicopter maintenance center and a pilot training center will be launched in Venezuela this year, Mikheyev said.
