KUBINKA (Moscow region). Aug 21 (Interfax) - An agreement on military cooperation with the Central African Republic (CAR) will allow its servicemen to study at Russian Defense Ministry universities, Russian Deputy Defense Minister Alexander Fomin told Interfax.
"It is an agreement on military cooperation. It is a framework agreement outlining the main avenues of military cooperation such as delegations' exchanges, the opportunity to study at Russian Defense Ministry universities, mutual visits, etc. It is an agreement that will lay the foundation for the further development of our relations," Fomin said.
Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and CAR Minister of National Defense and Reconstruction of the Army Marie-Noelle Koyara signed a military cooperation agreement between the two countries on the sidelines of the Army 2018 international military-technical forum outside Moscow earlier on Tuesday.
