FSIN reports on Sentsov's condition, denies rumors of force-feeding

MOSCOW. Aug 21 (Interfax) - There has been no deterioration of the health of Ukrainian filmmaker Oleh Sentsov, the press service of the Russian Federal Penitentiary Service (FSIN) branch in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District said.

"On August 20, doctors from the Labytnangi city hospital held another meeting to discuss Oleh Sentsov and came to the conclusion that his health has not deteriorated," the FSIN said.

It denied rumors that Sentsov, who was convicted in Russia on terrorism charfes, has been subjected to force-feeding.

"The information disseminated by a member of the Public Monitoring Commission of Moscow about the possible force-feeding of convict Sentsov has no connection to reality," the FSIN said.
