KUBINKA, Moscow region. Aug 22 (Interfax-AVN) - The Russian army will receive its first serial tanks and infantry fighting vehicles (IFVs) based on the Armata universal combat tracked platform this year, Russian Deputy Defense Minister Alexei Krivoruchko said.
"The contract for 132 vehicles, including T-14 (tank) and T-15 (IFV) has been signed as of now. We have already received the first nine serial vehicles this year," Krivoruchko said at a press briefing on Wednesday.
"The first contract will be fulfilled by the end of 2021," he said.
