NOVOSIBIRSK. Aug 22 (Interfax) - Some 100 units of modern military hardware will be demonstrated at Tolmachyovo military airdrome near Novosibirsk as part of Army 2018 international military-technical forum, the press service of the Central Military District reports.
The forum events will be held in Novosibirsk on August 24-26.
"At the event guests will be able to see and examine modern vehicles of Russia's air defense formations, Air Force and land troops," the report says.
The displayed items include Mil Mi-24 multipurpose attack helicopters and Mi8-AMTSh Terminator transport and assault helicopters, Pantsyr-S1 self-propelled surface-to-air missile system, Yars ICBM and others.
The forum will also feature special vehicles for the Emergency Situations' Ministry and other defense industry output. Servicemen of the Central Military District will arrange an exhibition of small arms and modern military gear.
