MOSCOW. Aug 23 (Interfax) - The 80th humanitarian truck convoy of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry has departed for Donbas, the ministry's press service said.
"A convoy of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry carrying humanitarian aid for people of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions departed from the ministry's Don Rescue Center for the border at 4 a.m. Moscow time. It is carrying over 500 tonnes of humanitarian cargo, including children's food care packages, medicines, and medical equipment," the press service said.
Trucks will be cleared by customs at the Donetsk and Matveyev Kurgan checkpoints and head for unloading points in Donetsk and Luhansk.
