MOSCOW. Aug 24 (Interfax-AVN) - Rosoboronexport chief Alexander Mikheyev has said the U.S. dollar is being consistently abandoned in payments with partners for arms supplies against the backdrop of the Western sanctions.
"Together we have been consistently abandoning the dollar in mutual payments in favor of our national currencies, especially given the colossal experience Rosoboronexport has amassed throughout its successful cooperation under all kinds of external economic circumstances," Mikheyev said on Friday
"Sanctions have the boomerang effect: partners justifiably see them as an interference in the internal affairs of a state," he said.
