Russia doubts authenticity of photos of Russians accused by London over Skripals affair - Foreign Ministry

MOSCOW. Sept 5 (Interfax) - The Russian Foreign Ministry has expressed its doubt about the authenticity of the photos which London claims are of the Russians involved in the Skripals affair.

Both pictures, each showing one of the suspects, were made at the same time and same place, the ministry's spokesperson Maria Zakharova told the television channel Rossiya-1 (VGTRK).

"Same place, same corridor, the recorded times are the same right down to a second," Zakharova said.

"So, it is either the date and exact time superimposed on the photographs, or Russian military intelligence officers have learnt to walk simultaneously while having their images captured on two different photographs," she said.
