Decisions on elections in Donbas are not made in Moscow - Peskov

MOSCOW. Sept 6 (Interfax) - Information on plans to hold elections in the DPR and the LPR needs to be confirmed in the self-proclaimed republics, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.

These decisions are not made in Moscow, he said.

"These decisions are not made in Moscow. Especially after the events that have occurred, I mean the well-known terrorist attack," he told reporters, responding to a question as to whether he is aware of the upcoming elections in the DPR and the LPR and the possible candidates.

"This information needs to be confirmed in the LPR and the DPR," Peskov said.
