NEW YORK, Sept 6 (Interfax) - London needs the Skripal affair to stoke anti-Russian hysteria and get other countries involved in this process, Russia's Ambassador to the United Nations said.
"London needs the Skripals story for one purpose only: to stoke anti-Russian hysteria and to also get other countries involved in this process, " Vasily Nebenzya said.
"It was we who urged London to cooperate, and not the other way round. London was rather reluctant to have any kind of cooperation," Nebenzya said.
There are many discrepancies in the evidence presented by London in the Skripal affair, he said.
