Putin calls for systemic reconstructions in Syria

TEHRAN. Sept 7 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has declared the importance of systemic humanitarian efforts of Russia, Iran, and Turkey so that Syria could rise from ruins.

Putin told the presidents of Turkey and Iran at the beginning of their trilateral meeting in Tehran that Russia was giving regular direct assistance to the Syrian population and delivering food, medicines, and other goods to the war-torn regions.

"It would be good to make our joint humanitarian efforts systemic so that Syria could rise from ruins, its industry, agriculture, and infrastructure could be rebuilt, and Syrians could massively return home," Putin said.

"The thorough work of Russia, Iran, and Turkey on the Syria track has brought impressive results," he said.
