Terrorists in Idlib holding millions of civilians hostage - Russian Ambassador to UN Nebenzya

NEW YORK. Sept 7 (Interfax) - The terrorists are behaving aggressively and holding millions of civilians hostage in Syria's Idlib governorate, Russian Permanent Representative to the United Nations Vasily Nebenzya said.

"The terrorists in Idlib are behaving aggressively, holding millions of civilians hostage," Nebenzya said at a UN Security Council meeting on Syria.

The terrorists have also "carried out sorties to surrounding territories and shelled the nearby cities and villages," he said.

"The cessation agreements are violated dozens of times every day," he said.
