Russian-Iran-Turkey summit to facilitate final resolution of Syria problem - Putin (Part 2)

TEHRAN. Sept 7 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin hopes the trilateral summit in Tehran will be a success.

"I am sure that today's talks will be productive and the decisions made will be a major contribution in securing a definitive [crisis] settlement for the Syrian Arab Republic," Putin said in Tehran on Friday.

"Owing to Russia's, Iran's, and Turkey's painstaking work, impressive results have been achieved on the Syrian track," he said.
