YEREVAN. Sept 10 (Interfax) - The breakaway Nagorno-Karabakh republic must become part of Armenia in future, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said.
"Regarding our ideas about future: I said before that I see Artsakh [the Armenian name for Nagorno-Karabakh] as part of Armenia. This path may consist of several steps, but our vision is clear. There can be no doubts here," Pashinyan said at a meeting with Armenian entrepreneurs in Moscow on Saturday.
As for the possibility of concessions in the Karabakh conflict settlement process, this hinges on Azerbaijan's readiness, he said.
"We should ask Azerbaijan if they are ready for concessions. If Azerbaijan keeps making threats against Armenia and Artsakh, then Armenia's readiness for concessions would mean weakness. We will never do this. No one can talk to Armenia in the language of threats. We will not allow this," Pashinyan said.
