Command post drills to begin in DPR on Tue

DONETSK. Sept 10 (Interfax) - Drills involving 300 units of military hardware and 4,000 personnel will begin in the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) on September 11, Eduard Basurin of the DPR Defense Ministry said at a press briefing.

"According to the training plan of the DPR People's Militia for the 2018 training year field command post drills are scheduled to take place at training ranges in our republic starting from September 11, 2018. This is a scheduled event, which is held as part of training of major formations and units of the People's Militia," he said.

Overall, over 4,000 servicemen and over 300 units of military hardware will take part in the drills, Basurin said.

"All of the drills will take place at distances from the contact line set under the Minsk Agreements," Basurin said.
