MOSCOW. Sept 10 (Interfax) - Russia will make efforts to create good conditions for a further dialogue between the United States and North Korea involving other major players - Russia, China and EU nations, Federation Council speaker Valentina Matviyenko said.
"We believe that the summit was a success and it was the right one: one should further maintain contacts between the U.S. and North Korea, and we too will be creating conditions for this, for the dialogue to continue. Sure, this doesn't mean solely the dialogue between North Korea and the United States. This means an inclusion of such players as China, Russia, and European Union member states," Matviyenko told reporters after the visit to Pyongyang on Monday.
