YEREVAN. Sept 12 (Interfax) - Yerevan will host a meeting of the Collective Security Treaty Organization Parliamentary Assembly (CSTO PA) Council and the 9th CSTO PA plenary meeting at the end of October.
Armenian parliamentary Deputy Chairman Eduard Sharmazanov and CSTO PA Executive Secretary Pyotr Ryabukhin discussed organizational aspects of these meetings in Yerevan, the parliamentary press service said.
The parties acknowledged the importance of cooperation between the parliaments of the CSTO member states, it said.
"The CSTO is of key significance for ensuring our country's security, and Armenia's membership of the CSTO has no alternative," Sharmazanov said.
