KYIV. Sept 13 (Interfax) - Ukrainian border officers have detained a citizen of Tajikistan wanted by the Interpol at Boryspil International Airport, the State Border Service said on Thursday.
It said the Tajik police initiated the search for the 29-year-old man on counts of terrorism.
The man joined the ISIL terrorist organization (banned in Russia) in Syria in 2016. He was trained in a terrorist camp and became an active member of the organization, the statement said.
The border guards prepared relevant documents and transferred the detainee to the Ukrainian National Guard.
