Energia Corp dismisses rumors of new 'holes' in Soyuz skin as fake

MOSCOW. Sept 14 (Interfax) - The ad hoc commission of the Energia Rocket and Space Corporation has denied media reports alleging that attempts to drill more holes in the skin of the Soyuz MS-09 manned spaceship, which is attached to the International Space Station (ISS), have been made.

"There are no new 'holes'. These reports are a fake," an informed source in the Energia commission told Interfax on Friday.

A number of media outlets said earlier that new indications of the attempt to drill through the spaceship's skin had been found.
