DONETSK. Sept 14 (Interfax) - Deputies of the People's Council of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) have spoken for the creation of a parliamentary commission to analyze the work of the DPR Revenue and Duties Ministry, which was previously headed by Alexander Timofeyev.
The decision was supported unanimously by deputies of the DPR People's Council on Friday, an Interfax correspondent has reported.
The first meeting of the commission will take place on Friday, the DPR People's Council said.
"The first session of the Provisional Commission of the People's Council of the Donetsk People's Republic on analyzing facts of infliction of damage to private individuals and legal entities as a result of illegal activities of officials from the Revenue and Duties Ministry of the Donetsk People's Republic will take place today," the report said.
DPR leader Alexander Zakharchenko and his bodyguard were killed by an explosion in Donetsk on August 31. Timofeyev was wounded in the blast. A source close to the late DPR leader told Interfax on September 7 that "Alexander Timofeyev and Zakharchenko's adviser Alexander Kazakov left Donetsk and went to Russia."
