BERLIN. Sept 14 (Interfax) - Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad is unlikely to remain in politics for a long time after political reforms in his country, German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas said.
"There has to be a political process [in Syria] , we support it," Maas said.
"Unfortunately, I cannot imagine that at the end of this process, provided it is truly democratic, there would be a long-term prospect for Al-Assad," Maas told reporters in Berlin on Friday.
