Germany has no reason not to trust London on Skripal affair - Maas (Part 2)

BERLIN. Sept 14 (Interfax) - Berlin has been extensively informed by London in relation to the Skripal case and has no reason not to trust this information, German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas said.

"We maintain close contact with partners in Britain. We have already received a lot of information about it and we have no reason to doubt it," Maas told journalists after talks with Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov on Friday.

The inquiry would be helped by information sharing, he said.

"If everyone is prepared to share information to clarify the matter, nothing will stand in the way of the investigation," the German minister said.
