BERLIN. Sept 14 (Interfax) - Russia has been shown no evidence of its alleged involvement in the attempted murder of the Skripals but is ready for a serious talk with London on the matter, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.
"Today we confirmed to our German partners that we've seen no evidence. And I very much doubt that the English have shown their NATO and EU allies anything beyond what they use publicly for hollow accusations," Lavrov told reporters after talks with German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas in Berlin on Friday.
"We are still ready for a serious talk on the basis of international law, not under the 'highly likely' principle which has already become a byword," Lavrov said.
It is not only the cases of Alexander Litvinenko and the Skripals, "but also the deaths of other Russians in London, including Mr. [Nikolai] Glushkov very recently, there are no facts which could be reasonably considered and discussed," Lavrov said.
Germany has no reason to doubt London's version in the Skripal case, Maas said.
