SOCHI. Sept 17 (Interfax) - Russia is concerned about the threat posed to its military facilities by militants in Idlib, Syria, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
"Today, the core of our concerns are that militants there pose a threat to the province of Aleppo, to the city of Aleppo, and to our military installations in Syria," Putin said at a press conference after meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Sochi on Monday.
Tartus hosts a Russian logistics base, and Hmeimim is used by the Russian Aerospace Forces.
