ROSTOV-ON-DON. Sept 18 (Interfax-AVN) - Operators of Iskander short-range ballistic missile systems in the Southern Military District destroyed a simkulated enemy in the "Abkhaz mountains" at the Molkino training range in the Krasnodar Territory, the district's spokesperson told Interfax on Tuesday.
"The crews tested their skills in positioning the system for combat and removing missiles from a transporter to a launcher at night," the spokesperson said.
The drill also involved organizing security and defense for the system at launch sites and repelling a simulated terrorist counterattack, the spokesperson said.
