MOSCOW. Sept 20 (Interfax) - Russian Ambassador in Pyongyang Alexander Matsegora has met with North Korean Deputy Foreign Minister Choe Son Hui to discuss the situation on the Korean Peninsula.
"Ambassador Matsegora met with North Korean Deputy Foreign Minister Choe Son Hui on September 19. The situation on the Korean Peninsula was discussed, including in the context of the UN Security Council meeting that took place in New York City on September 17," the Russian embassy to North Korea said on Thursday.
At that meeting, the United States accused North Korea and Russia of violating the international sanctions against Pyongyang.
