MOSCOW. Sept 20 (Interfax) - The Kremlin has received Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's telegram of condolences over the downing of Russia's Ilyushin Il-20 reconnaissance aircraft over the Mediterranean Sea, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.
"Such a telegram has been received," Peskov said when answering a question from Interfax.
Peskov declined to comment further.
