KYIV. Sept 24 (Interfax) - Ukrainian troops have pulled back missile units to certain areas along the contact line in Donbas, and drills involving operational deployment and striking targets of a simulated enemy are underway, the press service of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) said.
"For the sake of peace in Ukrainian land, this missile unit is put on alert in a matter of minutes, moves to the necessary area, and delivers a successful, precise strike on the most important targets of the simulated enemy at a tactical and operational distance from its forces. The Tochka-U missile system will thereby put a definitive end to the very existence of the enemy, its concentrations of troops, and its important weapons," the press service said.
The Tochka-U (RK 9K79-1) is a Ukrainian modification of the Tochka tactical missile system with an increased range of 120 kilometers.
