Russia confirmed that it wants "to take further joint efforts with the Syrians to achieve long-term normalization in Syria and ensure its sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity, taking into account, among other things, the outcomes of the trilateral meeting of the leaders of the guarantor states of the Astana Process in Tehran on September 7 and the Russian-Turkish summit in Sochi on September 17," the ministry said.
