MOSCOW. Oct 3 (Interfax) - The Russian intelligence community works moderately and professionally, and the West's accusations leveled at it are mendacious, Russian Federation Council Defense and Security Committee member Franz Klintsevich said.
"Our intelligence community is professional, it obtains authentic intelligence. Our activity in this field is moderate, constructive, and statesmanlike. We are capable of acquiring information," Klintsevich told Interfax on Thursday.
Western policymakers "are abusive and lying, they give fake information, the Boeing [Malaysia Airlines Flight 17] is a lie, and the Skripals are a lie," he said.
"When the moment is right, we will say seriously and with evidence in hand where you're lying and how, just as the Defense Ministry did recently concerning the Boeing," Klintsevich said.
