MOSCOW. Oct 24 (Interfax) - The re-organization of the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC), once it become part of Rostec, will be carried out by Anatoly Serdyukov, Russia's former defense minister, Vladimir Gutenev, first deputy chairman of the Russian Union of Machine-builders (Soyuzmash), told Interfax.
"I think, literally from the first steps Rostec management and the industrial director, Anatoly Serdyukov, in charge of this sphere as the man with substantial managerial experience, especially in crises, will begin a serious re-organization aimed at cutting administrative costs," Gutenev said.
Serdyukov was defense minister in 2007-2012. Currently he is the industrial director of the aviation cluster at Rostec.
