MOSCOW. Nov 26 (Interfax) - Moscow has reaffirmed its commitment to the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces (INF ) Treaty on condition it is honored by the United States.
"Given all factors influencing security and strategic stability, Russia is fully committed to this treaty as an important element of the Euro-Atlantic security architecture," Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said at a press briefing in Moscow on Monday.
"We want the INF Treaty to stay in place in case of its strict fulfilment by the U.S. side," Ryabkov said.
Ryabkov dismissed all allegations of Russia's breach of the INF Treaty. "We are ready to reaffirm with full responsibility that we dismiss any allegations of our breach of this treaty," he said.
