ASTANA. Nov 27 (Interfax) - Consultations of experts and a meeting of the working group for the release of detained persons will take place as part of the next round of talks on Syria in Astana on Wednesday, while the plenary session of the talks will be held on Thursday, the director of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry's Asia and Africa Department, Aidarbek Tumatov, told reporters in Astana on Tuesday.
"The first day of the event will see bilateral and trilateral consultations at the level of experts and also the 6th session of the working group for the release of detained persons, the transfer of bodies and the search for missing persons, to which representatives of the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees and the International Committee of the Red Cross have been invited," he said.
The plenary session has been set for November 29, Tumatov said.
The Kazakh Foreign Ministry said earlier that the next meeting on Syria in the Astana format would be held in the Kazakh capital on November 28-29.
