Systemic violations under previous Roscosmos administration uncovered - state prosecutors

MOSCOW. Nov 27 (Interfax) - The Prosecutor General's Office has uncovered systemic violations at Roscosmos from 2017 and the first half of this year, under its previous administration, agency spokesman Alexander Kurennoi said.

"Documents regarding the activity of the previous administration of Roscosmos in 2017 and the first half of 2018 were analyzed. Unfortunately, the inquiry into that period revealed systemic violations of law, including in the state defense order," Kurennoi said on the agency's video channel Efir.

"Defense orders deadlines were missed, and instances of the delivery of low-quality products were uncovered," he said.

"In general, there was no control over the spending of state funds by enterprises of the industry," Kurennoi said.
