MINSK. Nov 27 (Interfax) - The Kerch Strait provocation was carried out for political purposes ahead of the presidential election in Ukraine, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said.
"It is obvious that today there's no chance that incumbent President Poroshenko will win the election, maybe even no chance that he'll reach the second round in the current scenario. This provocation was probably staged in order to achieve certain decisions that are politically beneficial for the incumbent president," Medvedev told reporters.
