ASTANA. Nov 28 (Interfax) - Russia, Iran, and Turkey would like to invite Iraq, Lebanon and the United Arab Emirates to negotiations on a settlement process in Syria in the Astana format as observers, a source with the Russian delegation told Interfax on Wednesday.
"We want to engage new observers. Considering that reconstruction is the priority in Syria now, we would like to invite Lebanon, where there are a lot of refugees, Iraq, the United Arab Emirates, countries that can help. We'll be trying, there is the determination, and there are partners," the source said on the sidelines of the 11th round of talks on settling the crisis in Syria in Astana.
