ASTANA. Nov 28 (Interfax) - The next 12th round of intra-Syrian talks in the Astana format may take place in late January 2019, Russian Special Presidential Envoy Alexander Lavrentyev said.
"Most likely, this will take place some time in January, in late January. But a joint decision is not made yet, we are considering its date," Lavrentyev said, when talking to reporters at the end of the first day of the 11th round of intra-Syrian talks in Astana.
"We will mark the second anniversary of the Astana format and the anniversary of the Syrian National Dialogue Congress in Sochi on January 23-24. I believe that we will have something to talk about and some issues to discuss," he added.
