Russia can help Turkey with militants' withdrawal from Idlib, but it should trust its partners - source

ASTANA. Nov 29 (Interfax) - Russia could help the withdrawal of militants from the Idlib de-escalation zone, but this is primarily Turkey's obligation, a source with the Russian delegation at talks on a settlement process in Astana told Interfax on Thursday.

"Russia could help Turkey with the withdrawal of militants not even theoretically but practically. But we have to trust the Turks. Agreements have been concluded, and they have undertaken the obligation to fight Jabhat al-Nusra [a terrorist organization banned in Russia], so they should fight," he said.
