MOSCOW. Nov 29 (Interfax-AVN) - Two small missile ships and a patrol ship armed with Kalibr cruise missiles will be accepted by the Navy by the end of this year, according to the Russian Navy's Commander Admiral Vladimir Korolyov.
"By the end of the current year, our Navy will receive the patrol ship Vasily Bykov, two anti-diversionary motor boats, the small missile ships Mytishchi and Orekhovo-Zuyevo, a communications boat for the Baltic Fleet, and the Academic Pashin tanker," Korolyov said at an expanded meeting of the Navy's Military Council on Thursday.
It was reported earlier that that the Orekhovo-Zuyevo and the Vasily Bykov would join the Black Sea Fleet.
They are from Project 22800 and Series 22160, respectively; such ships are armed with Kalibr-NK cruise missiles.
