Poroshenko demands stricter regulations on registering Russian citizens in Ukraine (Part 2)

KYIV. Nov 30 (Interfax) - Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has called for stricter regulations on registering Russian citizens that arrive in Ukraine, especially in the ten regions where martial law is in effect.

"I'd tighten registration requirements, especially in the regions where martial law has been declared," Poroshenko said at a meeting on heightening national defense levels, which took place on Friday morning.

Poroshenko backed the effort of the Ukrainian State Border Service to tighten border control and reminded the meeting participants of the Service's decision to restrict the arrivals of male Russian citizens aged from 16 to 60 except in humanitarian cases.
