MOSCOW. Dec 3 (Interfax) - Syrian authorities have continued amnestying people who dodged military service, including refuges and former members of illegal armed groups, Russian Reconciliation Center chief Lieut. Gen. Sergei Solomatin said.
"As of November 30, 2018, 13,960 people were amnestied," Solomatin said at a briefing on Saturday.
The amnesty is taking place in line with a decree of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad dated November 9, 2018.
Ceasefire was not breached in Syria over the past 24 hours, Solomatin said.
