MOSCOW. Dec 5 (Interfax) - The Federation Council has urged the parliaments of Germany, France, and other countries to condemn the Ukrainian conduct in the Kerch incident and subsequent steps of Kyiv.
The appeal, which was made at a plenary meeting on Wednesday, calls for "the strong condemnation of the illegal actions taken by Ukraine in the Kerch Strait on November 25, 2018, and the subsequent decision of the Ukrainian authorities to declare martial law in the territory of Ukraine and to bar male Russian citizens aged between 16 and 60 from visiting Ukraine."
The appeal was addressed to the parliaments of permanent members of the UN Security Council, and member states of the Organization for Security and Co-Operation in Europe, primarily the parliaments of Germany and France as countries participating in the "Normandy Four."
