KYIV. Dec 7 (Interfax) - Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada Speaker Andrei Parubiy has signed the bill terminating the Treaty of Friendship with Russia from April 2019 and directed it to Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko.
The bill was submitted to the president on December 6, according to the Ukrainian parliament website.
The Rada voted for terminating the Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation and Partnership with Russia on December 6.
According to the bill, the treaty will be terminated on April 1, 2019.
