MOSCOW. Dec 10 (Interfax) - The allegations that Russia might have interfered in France's affairs in the context of the riots in Paris are slanderous, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
"Any allegations about Russia's possible role are nothing but slander," Peskov said on Monday.
The events in Paris are "exclusively France's internal affair. We have not interfered and are not interfering in the domestic affairs of any countries, including France," he said.
Moscow attaches "great significance to the development of relations with Paris," Peskov said. "Both parties are very actively working on this. We treat France's sovereignty with respect, and we appreciate it when France acts reciprocally," he said.
