MOSCOW. Dec 11 (Interfax) - Presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov has declined to comment on media reports that Russian citizen Maria Butina, who is incarcerated in the United States, is ready to plead guilty to some charges, citing a lack of official information.
"I cannot comment on that, because we, too, have received this information from the media. As of now, we have no official information or information coming from Butina herself on this issue," Peskov told the press on Tuesday.
He had been asked to comment on foreign media reports, according to which Butina has agreed to plead guilty to some charges.
